If you have not heard, there’s a website called picnik that lets you edit your photos for free! Hey this is great if you want to crop your photos, add text, add special effects, add light, clear up red eye and so on. It even works on a mac, which makes me happy 
and you don’t need Photoshop. But most of all it’s free, and you can’t go wrong with free.

Picnik is indeed a nice photo editor, but in the crop feature when you choose, let say 8×10 and then save it back to your computer it is not 8×10 but something much smaller. The folks at Picnik say, “this is to only to show how the photo will look printed copped at 8×10″. Not so nice when you are tring to enlarge something.
